Privacy Policy — pagadios.app

Summary: pagadios.app does not require an account, does not operate its own servers, and does not collect your personal data on our systems. The information you enter (events, expenses, photos) is stored on your device.

1. Data controller

This policy applies to the mobile app pagadios.app (bundle identifier com.app.ccdemo). Privacy questions: dmontal@gmail.com.

2. What pagadios.app is

pagadios.app is an offline-first app to record and split shared expenses among participants in an event or group (trips, dinners, household expenses, etc.). It does not include social networking, messaging between users, or cloud sync.

3. Data we do NOT collect on our servers

We do not maintain our own servers to store your activity. In particular, we do not collect on our systems:

Name, email, or login credentials (the app has no user registration).
Events, participants, expenses, balances, or receipts you add in the app.
Location, phone contacts, or advertising identifiers for tracking.
Web browsing history (the app does not include an integrated browser).

4. Data stored on your device

All information you create or import is saved locally on your iPhone or iPad using the app's internal storage (SQLite database and files on the device), including:

Event and participant names you enter.
Amounts, categories, notes, and dates of expenses.
Photos or images of tickets and receipts you attach.
App preferences (theme, language) in local storage.
Optional record of tips already made (to avoid showing the invitation repeatedly).

You control this data. You can delete events, export them as a .expenses.zip file, import copies, or uninstall the app (which removes local data except for operating system backups).

5. Device permissions

The app may request the following permissions, only for the indicated features:

Camera: photograph expense and payment tickets or receipts.
Photo library: select existing images as receipts.

Images are saved in the app's local storage. We do not automatically upload them to the internet or third-party services.

6. Sharing and importing data (your action)

You can export an event and share it via WhatsApp, email, or other apps, or import received files (including the iOS share extension). These actions occur outside our control: the destination and people you share with are your responsibility. Each import creates an independent copy on the importing device.

7. In-app purchases (optional tip)

pagadios.app offers an optional consumable purchase (“buy a coffee”) processed entirely by Apple through the App Store / StoreKit. We do not receive or store card numbers or banking data. Apple may collect payment information under its own policy: Apple Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party services

The app may interact with operating system or third-party services only when you initiate it:

Apple App Store: optional in-app purchases.
System share apps (WhatsApp, Mail, etc.): when exporting PDF, ZIP, or text.
Mail client: when sending feedback from Settings (if configured).

We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers. The app does not show third-party advertising.

9. Minors

pagadios.app is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors on our servers (we do not operate account servers). If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor contacted us inappropriately, write to dmontal@gmail.com.

10. Security

As an offline app, the security of your data largely depends on protecting your device (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, iCloud backups). We recommend exporting important events as a backup and not sharing exported files with unauthorized people.

11. Accuracy and financial use

Balances and suggested transfer amounts are calculated automatically from the data you enter. pagadios.app does not provide legal, accounting, or tax advice. We do not guarantee accuracy for tax or contractual purposes.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. We will publish the current version at this same URL and indicate the update date. Continued use of the app after changes implies acceptance of the revised policy.
